SSID Policy for billing adjustments due to leaks
The district put in place a policy to account for high water use caused by a leak in the customer’s service line to their house. If such an occurrence is identified, the customer may be granted up to two billing cycles of relief (they will get charged a fee based on prior usage). The customer will need to provide evidence of the leak as well as evidence of the (in process) repair. Failing to do so will revert to the original charges.
